KESUMAS Kayak 2017

KESUMAS (Kejohanan Sukan Mahasiswa UNIMAS) is the university's annual sports event involving all students from various faculty.

It was an exhilarating day during the annual KESUMAS event whereby 8 faculties battle it out to be the kayak champion at the UNIMAS lake. The just concluded event saw Faculty of Economic and Business (FEB) taking the most medals out of the event with 1 Gold 1 Silver and 2 Bronze. Other faculties got their fair share of the limelight such as Faculty of Resource Science and Technology (FRST) with 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze, Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts (FACA) with 1 Gold and 1 Silver, and Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS) with 1 Gold.

The fun filled event was jointly organised by UNIMAS Student Representative (MPP) and UNIMAS Sports Council. UNIMAS Kayak Team (UKT) joined to co-hosted this year's KESUMAS and it was indeed a learning experience for our team as this is the first time our team co-hosted the KESUMAS kayak event. Worth mentioned, the event had good reviews both from the participants and also organizers.
